• Makes 1 Burgers

Ingredients For Tikki:-

• 1 Cup Finely Chopped Broccoli

• 1 Tbsp Oil

1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Onions

• 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Garlic

• 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Green Chillies

• 1/4 Cup Boiled, Peeled And Mashed Potatoes

• 2 Tsp Cornflour

• Salt To Taste

• Bread Crumbs For Rolling

• Oil For Deep- Frying.

Ingredients For Parsley Mayonnaise Spread:-

• 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise

• 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Parsley

• 1 Tsp Chopped Green Olives

• 1 Tsp Mustard Paste

For Assembling:

• 1 Burger Buns

• 2 Tsp Melted Butter

• ¼ Cup Mayonnaise

• 2 Lettuce Leaves

• 2 Cheese Slice

• 4 Cucumber Slices

• 4 Tomato Slices

• 2 Onion Slices

• Salt And Freshly Ground Pepper To Taste


• Garlic Tossed French Beans

• French Fries

• 2 Cherry Tomatoes

• 1 Skewer Stick


1. Heat The Oil In A Broad Non-Stick Pan; Add Green Chilli, Garlic And Sauté On A Medium Flame Till The Onions Turn Translucent.

2. Add The Broccoli And Chopped Onion Sauté On A Medium Flame For 4 To 5 Minutes Or Till The Broccoli Is Almost Cooked.

3. Remove From The Flame; Add The Potatoes, Cheddar Cheese, Salt As Per Taste And Cornflour And Mix Well.

4. Divide It Into 4 Equal Portions And Shape Each Portion Into A Circle Of 75 Mm. (3’’) Diameter And 1 Cm Thickness.

5. Dip Each Cutlet In Bread Crumbs Till It Is Evenly Coated From All The Sides.

6. Heat The Oil In A Kadhai And Deep-Fry Each Cutlet Till It Brown In Colour From Both The Sides. Drain On Absorbent Paper And Aside.

How To Proceed:-

1. Cut Each Burger Bun Horizontally Into Two. Apply ½ Tsp Of Butter Insides Of Each Half Of The Burger Bun And Toast Them Lightly On A Tava (Griddle). Keep Aside.

2. Place 1 Lettuce Leaf, 1 Cheese Slice, 3 Tomato Slices, 4 Cucumber Slice, 2 Onion Rings, Place A Tikki, And Spread Parsley Mayonnaise Spread.

3. Cover With An Upper Half Of A Bun With The Buttered Side Facing Down And Press It Lightly.

4. Place A Skewer In The Centre Of The Burger Topped With Cherry Tomato.

5. Serve Immediately With Garlic Toasted French Beans & French Fries.
